  I've been attending Beth Messiah for the feast days and other times for over twenty years, even when they were renting a building. Beth Messiah has aided me in my walk with Yeshua HaMashiach. They have both a liturgical time, wonderful music and dancing before the LORD, and the sermons are always great. I love attending there and being in the Presence of the LORD.

  My daughter and I went to this congregation, I am not from Texas. I was very surprised at the teaching. This congregation should not identify them selves as a messianic jewish congregation. It was like walking into an evangelic church, some of the men were wearing kippah and tallit, however the rest of the service was evangelic. My daughter and I left early because there was no substance in the service.. .

  My husband and I have loved Cong. Beth Messiah from our first visit. We have now been there going on 10 years and have loved every minute of it. It's more than a place to worship and learn, it's our family.

  CBM is an amazing Synagogue not only for their worship but also to learn the word. I love that CBM is a very family oriented congregation but also a congregation of multiple nations. From the first day I walked in, till now I have felt the presence of Yeshua and Adonai.

  I attended this congregation for over 10 years, starting in my teenage years, and I have very little positive to say about this place. Growing up there I have seen many people be led away from G-d and myself included, I felt more and more distance from a relationship I had before ever attending this congregation. If you enjoy attending a place once a week and get to listen to the same speeches over and over, get to listen to a concert style of worship and dance around, then this is the place for you. This congregation preaches Torah observance yet in reality they do not observe the Torah and in actuality discourage it. I was taught not to be religious, but have a relationship, without guidance I guess that means by dancing and clapping my hands. They do not provide many classes and the teaching is not in depth, but at a surface level only. Being Jewish myself I do not see how Jewish people can ever attend this congregation and I don’t believe that there are many if any Jews there. The leaders at this congregation are not Jewish and were not raised Jewish. Like another commenter stated, “they are playing dress up.” The mindset of the leaders there is all about making money and putting on a good show. They strongly emphasize the paying of tithes and if you meet with the “Rabbi’s” the first thing they ask you is if you pay your tithes, because if you have not payed your full tithes, then that is the root of any and all your problems. It has not only been me, but friends and family members that attended here have all told me the same story. I bought into these ideals going into adulthood, but they have been shortly lived. Attending this congregation led me to question my beliefs and the more I read the Bible I saw that to live like Jesus that they preach, you must do more than go to a place that just wants your money and dance around. I now attend a Jewish Synagogue that is unlike I was told is very accepting and is fulfilling to my life. I feel like a part of a community and am able to live a Torah observant lifestyle, the way the Jewish people do and should do since G-d never changes and the Torah needs to be respected and observed, this has never changed. I quit attending beth messiah a little over a year ago and was hesitant about commenting on it until I have spoken with many other people that tried it out and shared the same feelings about the place. The congregation and their leadership will tell you there that they are Jewish and they are a synagogue, but that is not the case at all. I have not been more content and positive than I am now in over 10 years and am truly happy that I made the transition.
