  I googled "Missionary Baptist Church" and showed up one Sunday. I ended up attending for four years. Everyone is genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. There's no dress code. People show up in respectful attire, but it's not a fashion show. The Pastor teaches over preaching. He covers a great balance between prosperity and accountability. He teaches love and grace with no discrimination. He shows us how to apply the Bible to our daily lives. He uses the Bible with so much knowledge and his messages tie in many parts of the Bible. We get printed notes for every service. He gives us an honest look at ourselves. The choir is cool too. Lots of activities and ways to get involved. It's not an old church. There's a spectrum of ages. There are a lot of professionals, but there are also people who are looking to recover from habits or have been jailed. Dr. Coffield dedicates his heart to helping us all. Community service. Health Fairs. Recovery groups. It's not a judgmental place. It's a giving place. A loving place. It's not perfect, but I didn't even visit other churches once I went there. I felt that this was the place for me. The Executive Pastor is great too. They have 3 Sunday services: 8am, 10am, and Noon. I did my best to make the 8am service, depending on how my sleep was set up. lol But the Pastor does a great job at teaching a consistent sermon. Any time you choose will be great. I promise you'll find someone that you can relate to. You just have to get involved. Everyone there is there to love one another. A truly blessed house. A recurring theme you'll hear there is how we all need to be humble, but also we are all God's children and God didn't make junk. Walk in your greatness and accept others as they are and encourage them until they can also walk in theirs! I have moved to Chicago, but I still stream the services on the app or online! I love Good Hope MBC and the family there very much!

  I absolutely love it ar this church. Im excited about going in the morning! 8am service before work at 10am. Thank you God for guiding me to Good Hope!

  I have been blessed by the service always . I
  Love the true fact of the ministry meeting the needs of the community . Truely it has been a blessing to all . I have been a member since 1994 . Pastor Cofield has helped my children and me . I will always remember his kindness. He loves the Lord and community.
