  I was lost. I needed to be found, but didn't know how to make that happen. My husband and I were searching for a church, and visited several. None were quite right. What I wanted was a choir, pews, not seats, and, of course, an inspiring pastor. (Dr. Marty, of course.) After about 6 churches, we found where God led us, and we leave every Sunday with smiles on our faces.
  
  I was raised in God's Church, but lost sight in my younger years (20-30) of the blessings and miracles that God can endow upon those who need him. I recently injured my ankle, and have a very physically demanding job. I was not able to return to work without physical therapy, and my job was in jeopardy. I prayed and prayed to God to help me heal. I'm still not completely healed, but GUESS WHAT? My job called and offered me an office assistant position temporarily until I'm ready to get back to my regular job. They say God works in mysterious ways, and with prayer and faith, anything can happen! I love John Wesley Methodist Church, and its graciousness, beauty, spirit, and love. I encourage anyone who may need spiritual help to visit our church. (And by the way, the organist/pianist and choir can bring you to tears!) Most Sincerely, Angie
