  • My history with the Houston Vineyard spans back to the early 00s. My parents, sisters, and I started attending this church after my Dad got out of ministry and we were ready to just be church members. This was the place to go for healing and to be fed, just like everyone else has said the folks here are loving, and welcoming. Pastor Palandro has always been a great teacher and preacher but I believe he has really hit a stride in recent years. Throughout my life as a Christian I've attended the Vineyard off and on, I am a member of a different local body but still find myself coming "home" to the vineyard from time to time to yet again get healed and fed.

  • After one visit, we knew this was a place we wanted to be. There were people from many different countries, socioeconomic backgrounds, age groups, and personalities. The pastors try to learn everyone's name and make all feel welcome. Children's areas are safe with background checks, cameras, and lots of enthusiastic, knowledgeable workers. Messages challenge a new level of faith while encouraging compassion to others.

Modern radicalism..come here if you want to be part of a community that spreads hatred over other religions and could cause next holocaust kind of event in the future with tiny tiny steps in that direction. Charity is respected when done with selfless intentions. Do not take advantage of the poor in other countries, their basic urges and needs, their emotions and approach them with a mask of kindness hiding behind the selfish motives of converting them to Christianity. Faking kindness and selflessness is the worst of all the bad things in this world. It says there is really no humanity at all in this world when the person who receives your help finds the real self of yours. If you want to help others do it without any selfish motives. That is the real humanity and selflessness.

  • I'm curious as to whether Anonymous1234 visited the same church as everyone else. I'm very sensitive to the things he/she is talking about when visiting a new church, and I've never experienced anything remotely like that 1-star description from the pastors, parishioners, or anyone at all whom I've met there. Anonymous's diatribe sounds more like anti-Christian rhetoric than a legitimate critique of the Vineyard.
